Briefing was to design labels for a rose and white organic wine under the name ‘Buiten’ (Dutch word for outside). The ‘TO GO’ proposition specifically for the summer months made use of a plastic bottle instead of glass, ideal to be able to take out to the park or beach. The ‘i’ from ‘Buiten’ as a summer sun high in the sky encircled by swallows. In Dutch ‘één zwaluw maakt nog geen zomer’ (One swallow does not start the summer) was played with as concept and reason for having two swallows encircling the sun:) A simple clean and fresh layout with swallows positioned differently on each label.
